2014 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Concept To Replace SX4

Maruti Suzuki is always one of the biggest attractions at the Auto Expo. One of the largest pavilions at the events with a very extensive range of cars on display. Modified versions of existing models, launch of the brand new Celerio and at the center of it all the display of its radical concept cars. One particular concept that caught everyone’s attention was the Ciaz. The Ciaz made its debut in India after first being showcased by Suzuki at the Shanghai Motor Show. The radical new design that is the same size as a Mercedes-Benz E class, can be described simply as beautiful.

At first glance the car looks like it would be transformed into the new Kizashi. After all, the radical rims, upward curve of the boot-lid integrated spoiler, dual exhaust pipes are signature cues of the Kizashi. However, it can be confirmed that the Ciaz will be the concept on which the production model of the next SX4 will be made. Especially after the failure of the Kizashi, both in India and in the global car market.

The overall style of the concept is sporty class and the sleek curves make it an aerodynamic nirvana.. The car prowls very low and has a crouched forward stance. The rear LED tail-lamps are mesmerizing and have the same shape as the current generation Honda Civic that hasn’t come to India yet. The front end also shows day-time running LED’s which may make their way to the production model as well.
